This red house… was the perfect place to host friends and share the joy of being together. With a glass of good wine.

Mr. Giovanni Rui

Make yourselves at home, it's open!

Welcome to Vigne Matte, where nature and history come together to give us a unique territory like the UNESCO World Heritage Prosecco Hills of Valdobbiadene and Conegliano.

A place suspended between earth and sky, with a glorious past and a present that has inherited the value of quality in producing Prosecco Superiore DOCG.

“Matte” because they grew on their own, where they shouldn't have.

OUR WINES

When the earth becomes poetry.

Vigne Matte is... an idea. We didn't even think about it at first.

The Territory

Rolle (formerly Arolle, Airolle, Arrolle), from the Latin rubus, “bramble”.

Rolle originates from land that has always been suited to the cultivation of vines. In fact, the geological conformation of oceanic nature and the sandy subsoil rich in natural mineral salts give the wine its original flavour and aromas. It was here, amidst the million-year-old rocks, that a spontaneous vineyard (‘matto’ in Venetian dialect) sprouted: this is how Vigne Matte was born, which from the outset made careful care for the land the founding values of its business, to produce a distinctive Prosecco of superior quality.
